Claiming a lease code is anonymous: we don't ask for your name, email address, phone number or any other personal details. We only store an email address if you choose to contact us, and delete it after 12 months.
Claiming a lease code
When you claim a code, we store a random request ID, the time of the claim, its status and which lease code was assigned. None of this identifies you. Because we don't know who you are, we can't recover a lost code, so please save yours as soon as it appears.
Contact form
If you send us a message, we store your email address and your message so we can reply. Messages are stored on our own server, are never shared, and are deleted automatically after 12 months. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering your question (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
IP addresses
- Abuse protection. To stop the limited supply of codes from being drained, the number of claims per IP address is counted in memory for 15 minutes. These counts are never written to disk.
- Server logs. Our web server records IP addresses in its access logs for security and troubleshooting. These logs are kept for 12 months and then deleted automatically.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure and fair (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Cookies and tracking
This site doesn't use tracking cookies, analytics or advertising scripts.
Hosting
The site and its database run on a server in the European Union. We don't sell data or share it with third parties.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, and to object to how it is processed. The only personal data we process are the contact form messages and the IP addresses in our server logs described above. To make a request, use the form below. You can also complain to the Dutch data protection authority, Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
